Welcome to the Swan at Wantage
Nestling in the shadow of the parish church in the historic Oxfordshire market town of Wantage, The Swan is a pub with a twist. Recently reopened and undergoing extensive renovation at the hands of new owners Russell and Michelle, inside the Swan you will find a unique blend where rustic English charm meets a style and drinks menu straight from the Florida Keys.
With several years of experience of the party atmosphere of Key West, the brother and sister team and their staff have brought new life to an old Wantage favourite, with various cocktails and colourful shots sharing space on the menu with the more traditional beers, wines and spirits.
The front and back bars are both now refitted and reopened, with work well underway to open the upstairs in the coming months. Live music has returned to the Swan, with Electric Head being the first band to play The Swan since re-opening when they performed on Sunday 6 May. Several other bands have played at The Swan since then, reaffirming The Swan Wantage as the place to go to hear live music.
Open from 4pm until late 6 days and from midday to midnight on Sundays, The Swan Wantage is a unique drinking venue. Drop in for Happy Hour between 4pm and 7pm on weekdays, when everything costs just 2 pounds, or call in anytime to take advantage of the cocktail shot special of 4 shots for £3.50...and be sure to try out the leopard print pool table!
